Medical Advisory Board

Purpose: The purpose of the Medical Advisory Board is to offer expertise on scientific developments, to provide insights on the needs of the Intestinal and Multivisceral Transplant population, and to assure that Transplant Unwrapped’s policies, research, grants, marketing, communications, and publications meet the highest standards of scientific rigor and accuracy.

The Transplant Unwrapped Medical Advisory Board has two components:

1. Core Medical Advisory Board: A smaller group of healthcare professionals (no more than 7) who work closely with the Transplant Unwrapped Board of Directors, guiding content development and ensuring scientific accuracy and rigor.

2. Medical Advisory Board Members-at-Large: A larger group of healthcare professionals, ideally with representation from all intestinal transplant centers within the United States, which provide insight and guidance to the organization on an ad hoc basis.
